Dr. Besty S. Jacob is an optometrist with more than nine years of experience.
After completing a double bachelor’s degree in Biology and Vision Science, Dr. Jacob attended Nova Southeastern University for his Doctorate in Optometry.
One of Dr. Jacob’s most memorable career moments was helping a young girl with severely poor vision. She could not see more than a few inches away from her face, and neither she nor her mother knew what she was missing in the world around her. He will never forget her excitement and joy after receiving her contact lenses that day. Dr. Jacob says helping people see more clearly is one of the most rewarding parts of his profession.
With an outgoing and charismatic personality, Dr. Jacob enjoys speaking and interacting with people, which he feels helped lead him to his profession in Optometry.
Dr. Jacob is a self-proclaimed foodie. So when he’s not working, he loves trying new restaurants with fascinating cuisine. Born in Kerala, India, Dr. Jacob has spent most of his life in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where he enjoys boating and fishing with family and friends.
