Tucker Vision Center Is Joining Award-Winning True Eye Experts

Merger Begins January 2021
True Eye Experts is excited to announce that Tucker Vision Center of North Fort Myers is joining its family of premium eye doctors providing exemplary care in Florida. This is True Eye Experts’ fourth location and will help the optometric clinic expand beyond their Tampa footprint.

“We opened our doors in 1985 with a goal to be a total vision care destination for the entire family,” said Dr. Terry Tucker of Tucker Vision Center. “We’re excited to see the best parts of Tucker Vision Center combine with our new partner True Eye Experts to bring the very best vision care to the Fort Myers community.”

Dr. Terry Tucker will continue to serve as the brand’s optometrist under the True Eye Experts name. The office location will remain the same at 88 Pine Island Rd in North Fort Myers. Beginning in January 2021, the True Eye Experts name will be implemented both in-office and online. The full brand transition is expected to be complete by early Spring.

True Eye Experts co-founder, Dr. Samuel Teske, reflects on the growth the practice has seen in the last 10 years: “Our goal from the very beginning was to gather a group of exceptional eye doctors and provide the highest level of customer service. Seeing True Eye Experts grow from one location to four is proof that we stayed true to that promise and created a team of specialists who are laser-focused on providing individualized care, clear communication, and selfless service.”

True Eye Experts of North Fort Myers is now accepting all major vision plans and most insurance plans, including VSP. The practice plans to launch hundreds of new frames at this location in 2021, which are all backed by their 100% satisfaction guarantee.

“We now employ more than 50 team members between the four clinics. We pride ourselves on keeping the same level of quality vision care and products at each of these practices,” said True Eye Experts co-founder, Kevin Whaley. “When you walk into one True Eye Experts location, you’ll receive the same great customer service and expert eye care as the others.”

True Eye Experts of North Fort Myers is now accepting new patients. In light of the challenges presented by the coronavirus, the clinic is employing additional safety precautions. To schedule, call the office.

Tampa, Fla. – (September 21, 2020) Tampa-based optometric practice, True Eye Experts, is proud to announce the launch of an annual college scholarship fund. “As optometrists we know that much of what students learn comes from what they see, but what is evident is the vision that many of today’s young students have for the future,” said Samuel Teske, O.D. “We are proud to shine a spotlight on exceptional students through the True Eye Experts Scholarship, and offer an opportunity to help support their transition to a new institution and a meaningful career.”

The True Eye Experts Scholarship is now open for submissions on its website, TrueEye.com/Scholarship. Award-winning Tampa Bay Optometric Practice Rebrands as True Eye Experts

Award-winning Tampa Bay Optometric Practice Rebrands as True Eye Experts

NEW LOCATION IN LUTZ TO OPEN ON MAY 11, 2020

Tampa, Fla. (May 7, 2020) – True Eye Experts, formerly The Eye Doctors, proudly announced its new name and rebranded today. The strategic move comes as the award-winning Tampa optometric clinic opens its third location in Lutz, Florida. With the rebrand, the company also unveiled newly available licensing opportunities that enable talented optometrists the opportunity to grow their practice while building upon strong brand development and optimized business systems.

True Eye Experts’ refreshed brand has been years in the making. Co-founder, Dr. Samuel Teske, explains that the new brand reflects this vision:  “When we opened our first location more than ten years ago, our goal was to gather a group of premium eye doctors providing exemplary care. With True Eye Experts, our patients are not only getting an impressive team of experienced optometrists but also a team of specialists who are laser-focused on providing individualized care, clear communication, quality, and selfless service.”

The new location at 23388 FL-54 in Lutz not only expands True Eye Experts’ North Tampa footprint but also offers a more convenient location for many patients. The company employs 48 optometrists and staff members between the three sites.

True Eye Experts combines the latest in diagnostic technology with compassionate care. The clinic offers patients their signature V-Eye-P Exam featuring a combination of corneal topography, OCT scans, optomap retinal imaging, and visual field testing to diagnose and manage both eye diseases and overall eye health. In addition, the optometrists at True Eye Experts provide treatment for dry eye, glaucoma, cataracts, and other eye conditions.

Long recognized for a commitment to patients and their local community, True Eye Experts was named the Greater Tampa Bay Small Business of the Year in 2013. They were a U.S. Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Blue Ribbon recipient in 2014 and were named a Cooper Vision Best Practice in 2015.

In addition to its new name, True Eye Experts unveiled a new corporate brand identity, logo, website, and domain name: trueeye.com. The logo, with its geographic pin, is reflective of True Eye Experts’ renowned expertise and local neighborhood convenience. Two existing practices, still operating under The Eye Doctors moniker, will complete the brand transformation by the end of the year. The brand’s franchise management will remain headquartered in Tampa.

True Eye Experts is now accepting new patients. In light of challenges presented by the coronavirus, the clinic is employing safety precautions including reduced patient volume, expanded cleaning protocols, and longer exam times to allow for more thorough and safe care. To schedule, visit TrueEye.com.
