Dr. Terry L. Tucker is an optometrist with over 35 years of experience helping patients. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas with degrees in Biology and Electrical Engineering. He received his Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, and has practiced in Florida since 1984.
Dr. Tucker proudly served as president of the Southwest Florida Optometric Association from 1987 to 1989 and 1999 to 2000 and of the Florida Optometric Association (FOA) from 2006 to 2007. He has held various positions with the FOA throughout his tenure, as well as with other community organizations such as theNorth Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club of North Fort Myers, Lee County Boy Scouts, and the Lee County School Health Advisory Board.
Dr. Tucker is a member of the Southwest Florida Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, SECO International, and the Lee County School Head Start Health Advisory Board.
