Dr. Besty Jacob is a talented eye doctor and full scope optometrist with years of experience providing comprehensive eye care services. Dr. Jacob believes that helping his patients see more clearly is one of the most rewarding parts of his profession.
Dr. Jacob’s Experience
Dr. Jacob earned two undergraduate degrees, completing a double Bachelor of Science degree in biology and vision science. He then received his Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University.
One of his most memorable career experiences was helping a young girl with poor vision who was unable to see more than a few inches away from her face, and neither she nor her mother were aware of how severe her issues were. He’ll never forget the joy and excitement she had when she received her contacts and was able to see the world clearly for the first time.

Get to Know Dr. Jacob
Dr. Jacob was born in Kerala, India, but has spent most of his life in Ft. Lauderdale. Dr. Jacob is a self-proclaimed foodie and loves trying new restaurants and interesting cuisines. When he’s not caring for patients or exploring new dining experiences, Dr. Jacob enjoys boating and fishing with family and friends.
