Our Doctors — Dr. Ronald Patterson, O.D., and Dr. Jennifer Welter, O.D.
Dr. Ronald Patterson received his Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University, and completed an internship at Veteran’s Hospital in Huntington, WV, where he specialized in contact lenses and disease management. Dr. Jennifer Welter is a well-rounded eye doctor who also handles pediatric and adolescent eye exams and contact lens fittings. She completed her Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University. As a team, Dr. Patterson and Dr. Welter provide the knowledgeable, high-quality care that our patients have come to expect at True Eye Experts.

If you’re coming from the east or northeast from Tampa, take I-275 West until you get to exit 42, toward Howard Ave/Armenia Ave, which is right next to Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. Merge onto W Green Street, then use the left two lanes to turn onto Armenia Ave. In 0.8 miles, turn right onto W Kennedy Blvd, where you’ll see the Caffeine Roasters coffee shop on the adjacent corner. In 0.4 miles, our office will be on your right.
If you’re coming from the south, from Virginia Park or Palma Ceia West, take 92 North toward Oakford Park. Shortly after Izakaya Tori, you’ll turn right onto 60 East. Roughly 0.5 miles down 60 you will pass SoHo Sushi on your right. Keep driving another 0.5 miles and our building will be on your left, which is directly across the street from Greater Tampa REALTORS.
